UK recording artist Mams Taylor joins forces with renowned djays Felli Fel , DJ Skee and Them Jeans for Taylor’s tHe R-eVoLuTiOn oF rUnK.
Taylor’s trademark rUnK sounds, a blend of rap, rock and punk vibrations, the 22-track collection drops exclusively on July 27 through mininova.org, and features appearances from cross-genre icons such as Robbie Williams, Billy Idol, the Game and Lil Kim. tHe R-eVoLuTiOn oF rUnK is a prequel to Taylor’s Fall album debut.
When Taylor hit the UK stage earlier this year opening for T-Pain, his emphatic lyrics, ecstatic boom-baps, mesmerizing guitar riffs and percolating bass lines loudly proclaimed the debut of a powerful new artist on the global music scene. He has enjoyed a massive online presence, with features from sites like Spinner.com to Allhiphop.com. Says Taylor: “Distributing my music free through Mininova is critical because that’s what my fans are all about: discovering the hottest new artists digitally. I think it’s important that money not be a barrier between an artist and his fans, and Mininova makes that possible.”
